May. 7th, 2006 03:48 pmSpent this weekend watching the Badminton Horse Trials and now I really, really want to go horse-riding again.
edit: Oh yeah, I'm definitely going here this summer. Because *wow*. How can there be something that cool in Wales without me knowing? Mindbogglingly expensive but I don't *care*. I could at least do the 1 1/2 trail and probably the two if I get a couple of lessons in to catch up first. *Wow*.
I did wonder if I could get a group of eight together to go on an evening trail ride for my birthday but they finish in September. It'd still be fun. Mmm.
edit: Okay, um, it's the other end of Wales to me. Still don't care. Still going. I haven't been on holiday-holiday for the last.. two years i think, it's about damn time I did something. I'll even be able to put up with the south Waleians for horses. ;) Joking, joking. Really.
edit: Hey, there's a stables in London!
kindoftrouble,
lossi, let's go on London Weekend! ;)
Yeah, with those prices. Riiiiight.
edit: I think I found somewhere. It's close to me, looks quaint but professional, very nice. And they assess you before assigning you a group so you're not just dumped in with all the brilliant people. Still on the pricey side but dammit if I work in the summer I'm going to want something to spend my money on. AND, my old college funds their training courses which gives me great faith in them already.
Mmm. Think I might be going horse-riding when I go home. :)
