Bring It On is so good for mindless, trashy fun.

Writing aaaaaagggggaaaain! Which is also with the fun. So... I guess I'll go do some more of it. Welcome to my interesting day. :)

Also am now seriously thinking about ways of emergency contact, given that we haven't seen [livejournal.com profile] scoobydumblonde for two days. :-/ Even quick phone calls; they wouldn't cost overly much and it'd be worth it because then one person could tell everyone else.

Hhhmm.

I love Bring It On, but I've seen it far too many times for my own good.

And yaaaaaaaay!!!!!!! FIC!!! (Hopefully.)

Oh, and also, re: emergency contact? This is why people should have domains, as you can just look up the WHOIS info and it has addresses and phone numbers. It makes life a lot easier.

This reminds me to get emergency contant info for people. I hate it for some people and it's a really good idea..

Yeah, it's getting to the point now where I know too many of the lines. It starts to warp your brain. :) Spirit fingers!!

Weeelll... this is kind've a fic that might take a little longer than a couple of nights to write... ;) Though I have a ficlet bunny kicking around to, so I might squeeze that in now the muses seem to be stirring again.

I can recite a lot of the movie while I'm watching it, which should make me watch it less but it really doesn't. "These are not spirit fingers... these are spirit fingers, and these are gold." I'm totally the same with movies I shouldn't like but really do. Like Dude, Where's My Car?, it's so silly but I find it hilarious.

Soooo, Datta? Because oooooh, shiny. And well, as long as you're writing :D

As in... domains for websites? Can you really do that? That would actually be very useful, hhhmm.

I really need to start making a list. I only have addresses and emails, which are close to useless for getting in contact quickly with someone who's not online. It is really good to have, even if you never have to sue them.

I hope Katie's OK :/ I mean, one day once in a while sure, but two days in a row?

Yay for writing! I was gonna ask where the Edinburgh write-up was and threaten to tell everyone about Caramel Machiattos and obscene hand gestures, but you get let off if there's writing.

Also, I need a certain address :p email me?

Yep, you can. If you go to http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/index.jhtml and type in thinkingcaps.org you see my address and also my phone number. It is really, really useful, especially when people disappear and you worry about them. (I had to try four of my domains before I found one without the WhoisGuard on it. I have too many domains.)

Lists are good. I have some phone numbers but mainly addresses. I need to work on getting people's numbers.

*cracks up* It's so bad, it's just good. I've never actually seen Dude, Where's My Car?, though I've had it quoted endlessly at me. :) Sometimes these movies just have to be watched, silly or not. We can't be serious all the time.

Maybe, maybe. ;) (Why the hell did I decide to write first person Mardy? Was I channelling Tommy's insanity or something?) I'm just happy to be writing *something* again. :D

Oooo, now that's shiny. Oh I should get a domain. I should learn to make websites. Does it cost a lot? (Nah, you can never have too many of anything on the internet. ;-) It's too big.)

Definitely good. I only have a couple of numbers and I think one of them might've changed by now. Need to sort them out before I'm kicking myself for not doing it earlier.

Me too. :-/ It's the two days in a row that's especially worrying and there's not any really bad weather where she is that might've closed the school. Hopefully it'ss nothing serious and we're overreacting again. *crosses fingers*

The last few days seems to have bene one distraction after another. I'm finally trying to get organised. With semi-success, but at least I'm getting somewhere slowly. :) (Datta. Though the first person is very weird, I'm not sure it's going to last.)

Oh! I knew there was something I meant to ask you about tonight. *emails*

Very shiny :D And really, really useful. You should get a domain, and learning to make websites isn't really that hard. (Besides, I'm always willing to lend a hand.) Domains are about $9 (http://www.namecheap.com/ has them for $8.88, which is where I buy mine from and they're really fast and have good service) and hosting, it depends. I'm with Surpass (http://surpasshosting.com/) which I like and they're not really that expensive - their lowest plan is something like $5 a month, and if you buy it yearly at they have a couple of special deals. Lots of people recommend Dreamhost (http://dreamhost.com/) but they're more expensive, though they do give you a lot more, not that you'd ever need that much space. ResellerZoom (http://www.resellerzoom.com/) is another one which a lot of people recommend. Uh, there are a couple of free webhosts out there which I know I have links for, and probably I have more than enough space to host you, unless you want to upload like, 10GB of files ;) (You really can have too many domains, especially when you get renewal notices for them.)

Her back has been causing her a lot of pain lately, so I'm choosing to believe that she's just in too much pain to come in to work/school and because she's not coming in she's not on the 'net. It's either that or go crazy. I suppose I should give you all my cell/mobile number in case I ever do kick the bucket, though [livejournal.com profile] shana0809 would probably tell you.

*crosses fingers* I'm sure she's fine.

Trust me, I get the distractions thing @_@ Just post soon or I reveal ALL! :p (yayayayayayayayayayayay!)
