Um. There's really nothing I can find to say, especially since I missed the last two sets so I don't know what happened.

That has to be the most fittingly disappointing end to a hugely disappointing second half of the second. Most fitting ever.

And now I can't even say I don't like David Nalbandian without it seeming a petty thing because he beat Roger, but I'm being honest when I say I didn't like him before that. Just listening to the commentators, even when they were being nice about him, and Roger's reaction to him and just... I don't like, at all.

So there. My not-intentionally-petty-moment-that-actually-sounds-kinda-petty. I'm going to go and watch more Long Way Round and ponder possible bunnies that arise from this.

I knew making a Roger 'best of you' icon was going to come back and bite me in the ass. -_-

edit: Also, my new Andy 'Don't Panic' icon keeps getting replaced by miscellaneous icons from god-knows-who. It's irritating, especially when they aren't even pretty. Damn you LJ! If you want to replace my icons, steal some pretty ones for me!

In the fourth set, Roger was just exhausted and he called for the trainer twice to work on his legs. He made a good comeback in the fifth though, he was trailing 0-4 at one point and then he was serving for the match and everything went wrong again.

LJ is being irritating with replacing icons today. I don't know why it's doing it either.

I keep forgetting he hasn't actually played for the last month or so. Poor Roger; he's lost his record in finals and everything. :( And of all the finals to lose too... though I guess in perspective, he'd rather have lost this than say, Wimbledon.

I'm hoping it'll fix itself, because the icon they've replaced is only on my home computer and I'd have to completely remake it if they don't change them back. They're blaming it on moving their servers to San Francisco I think but I am beginning to get a little irritated, since it *keeps* replacing the same icon on me, no matter how often I re-upload it. Maybe they'll give us all free extra icon space though, like when LJ crashed for that day and they gave paid users two weeks free paid acocunt. ;) Probably wishful thinking.

Really, poor Roger. I'm annoyed that I didn't get to see the whole match now; I want to see the last two sets and just what went wrong.

I'm thinking about it. ;-) It's among the bazillion plotbunnies currently eating away any free time I might have. ^__~

No way?! I dream of seeing Roger live. And I love that comparison. :D Except for the whole, you know, what happens to Cedric but still, it's kinda weird how much it really works to compare them. :)

Only problem is the Andy icon it replaced isn't on my laptop, so I can't re-upload. Woe! LJ's so well behaved most of the time though, I guess we can let it have a mad few days here and there. :)

Yeah, the lack of preparation was the general reason I was getting. I jsut wnated him to win this *last* one to ,match the record y'know? But at least the tournament got a great final, which they really deserved after the week they've had.

I'm desperately hoping that next year isn't like that, because I used to love wrestling but when it went downhill and kept *going* downhill, I just abandoned it. I don't want that to happen with tennis. At least with Mardy coming back in February and hopefully Marat being back, and Lleyton having had the baby and everything, it'll all get off to a great start and go from there. These last few months have just been beyond weird with so many players getting injured; to have it happen again next year would be *really* unbelievable.

*snuggles back* That's good, because there seems to be this huge rush of support for him and I was feeling very small and shameful, sort of sulking at the back of the crowd. :) I don't think Roger getting annoyed with him helped much, since he usually doesn't make it that obvious - it was kind of like "Whoa, there *must* be something wrong to get that reaction." I am glad in a way someone else beat Roger, because it is dull knowing he's going to win everything *all* the time. I just wish they'd done it in a different match. ^__^

Okay that's worse than my problems, though I don't get comments emailed so I don't know how that would be working for me. I hope it all settles down now they're 'apparently' settled in San Francisco. That or they give us all free extra icon space or something. ;) For the trauma they've caused.

He looked like a ballet dancer, his turns, and steps and the way he moves his arms...*sigh* Yis I just watched HP yesterday, that's why. Robert Pattinson is a perfect human being, and Cedric looked beautiful. In my head, he didn't die, he tripped before he got to the cup. So there. :D
