So I thought hey, I'll have a nap so I can stay up later to get everything done. Lay down. Closed my eyes.

Person in the room beneath me started playing loud music again. As in, I could hear every. Single. Word. Our rooms have *great* soundproofing. You'd have to be *deaf* to need the music that loud. Unfortunately, the porters can't be bothered to come and put a stop to it unless it's after 11pm.

In lieu of help from them, I'm now have my speakers flat to the floor and Nirvana's Rape Me playing. Loudly.

Teach them to keep me awake with Coldplay. Gggrrr.

edit: Oh look, they stopped. I wonder why?

Not vindictive. Not me. Nope. Ahem.

I did that all the time last year when I was at uni. It's the only way people will stop playing loud music at annoying times!

^__^ Perfect sense; revenge is the only way to go. And unless you play your music loud enough to actually deafen people in the room, you're much better than the person in the room underneath me. ;-)

It really does work. People don't realise how rude they're being until someone is pointedly rude back and they don't like it. And hey, they started it! ^__^

*giggles too* I know! If the music is deafening them, you'd think they'd realise it might be annoying everyone else. But I'm safe in the knowledge that my music can always go louder than theirs. ;-)

It's awesome. :D I'm very impressed because I can't work out how you got the soft effect on Marat and the harsher colours as a background. Did you handwrite the name or is it a font? If it's a font, I want it. :)

Ah, a lot of my icon end up being like that. I just keep hitting them with layers and filters and effects until something pretty comes up. :) And oo, please. I love new fonts and that one's very pretty. :D
