Just went out for lunch for a former flatmate's birthday - three and a half hours it took. Two of those were spent waiting for the food to arrive. Most of the rest of it was spent waiting for the waitresses to do one thing or another, like clear the tables after we'd all finished eating for twenty minutes or just to bring the bill.

One more pub crossed off our list then. -_-

Now I have to do all the work I meant to do this afternoon. Thank you life and terrible pubs. And I have to do it with the TV screaming "WOEBIRDFLUISCOMINGFEARFORYOURLIVES" at me.

One of those days. Words that are leaving my mouth surprisingly often lately.

edit: ... Life may have just apologised by giving me a ten-hour extension that would save my life on one particular deadline. I'm not sure yet if it's a typo or not. Please be right. Please.

I'm trying to write a 1,000 words of a story and I have no idea where it's going. Hhhhm.
