Where is everybody? Is it something I said? o_O

edit: Gah Roger! What's with the luminous yellow Bandana of Doom? It's a *tennis court*, with *lights*. You don't need to wear reflective clothing for people to see you.

edit: Once again, I find myself liking Fabrice Santoro. Always have, inexplicably. Not that I'm cheering for him to beat Roger, but it's still nice to see him play, since I haven't in a while.

*giggles* Funnily enough, I'm doing exactly the same thing. And thinking how much her earrings look like Christmas decorations. :) *snuggles back*

I have a question for you! Do Scots use the same slang as Brits? It's okay if you don't know, but I just figured out of all the people I knew, you were the most likely to. :)

And I don't know about everyone else, but I went out to dinner then got roped into spending time with the family. Trust me, I would have rather been here.

Hhhmm, yes to an extent. Anywhere you go in Britain, people will speak slightly differently - I've said words in Lancaster that've had my flatmates from Lancashire and the Midlands looking at me blankly, and vice versa - so I know Scots have their own, regional-based slang. Not to mention the 'Aye' and 'laddies' and 'wee lassies' etc. *grins* But they'll definitely say things like wanker, bugger, shit, shite, bloody and so on, most of it in a much cuter accent than mine, so pretty much yes, they do. :) Not that I'm any expert on Scotland; it's just the general impression I've got over the years.

Ah, quality family time. Much fun - except for when there's tennis on. ;-)

Well, that makes sense. It's the same here, with different words. I remember when I first moved to Texas someone told me to go get something from the 'icebox' and I was like, "................." And I used to refer to things as 'nappy' in Colorado and no one understood what I meant but down here they all do. :) I hope you know I now can't stop picturing Andy Murray saying 'wee lassies.' It's all your fault.

Not so much with the fun tonight. Everyone was complaining about their jobs and all I could think about was that I was missing the beginning of Roger's match.

Santoro was amazing out there. It's nice to see Roger fumbled for a bit, or else, where is the drama? And yes, that yellow was dreadful... *wincing*

Actually, after Andy's lost *god formid i mention it again*, I had a fic formed in mind. I wrote them down, and stopped in the middle. I don't know how to continue. Would you mind helping me, take a look at it, give me some comments, and see what I can do about it?

And how can I send it to you?

Thanks~

Because the people of Nike are on crack and have inexplicably decided that Roger should be able to land the planes flying over Flushing Meadows using his headbad, of course.
