clo_againI caught the second half of 'Cast Away' (the movie) after Raw and damn, that film gets me every time. But I've heard people say they hate it - it's obviously not a film for everyone (my dad hated it) but it had me sobbing in the cinema over a *volleyball* This is me, who hates crying in cinemas. Over a *volleyball* It was incredible. It makes me wish we're weren't just doing Action/Adventure films in Media. Although... what genre would this film go in? It deals with so many themes it's difficult to say... But I would *love* to hear Tom Hanks + the director doing a commentary on this film (hey, it's my love of commataries again!) but apparently the one on the DVD is more technical-film-mkaing based rather than plot and ideas. Still, maybe it would be useful for Media so I might rent it sometime. Maybe at Easter when I have time off. *adds it to her to-do list*
Hey look, the girl who said "I'll do all my homework at the start of half term" still has homework to do tomorrow. What a surprise. It's mostly typing, and actually soemthing creative-ish ('Write "A Day in the Life of a Mentally Ill Person) which has had me researching schizophrenia all week. I think that was my Psych teacher's ulterior motive, getting us to research mental illnesses, sneaky rat. Still, this is the fun part of Psych so I enjoy it.
I *was* writing Lamp of the Valar chapter four earlier and I'll carry on writing it tomorrow - after I've done my homework. My muses are getting twitchy again so I'll do another chapter of 'Muse Madness' for them after LotV. They worked hard after the last one so maybe they will after this. Plus I need to start getting organised with all these fics. I had a folder with all my LotV stuff and IT'S VANISHED. I swear, it's just gone bang and disappeared. Unless I left it in Disneyland which is EXTREMELY doubtful since I would have sworn I didn't take it with me..... *is confused* Anyway, I still have the folder with Myth so that's good.
Ah, I'm reading a LotR fic that is running rampant over all canon, has Arwen as the evilest bitch known to man or elf and Legolas and Aragorn in love *sighs happily* Gleeful AU. Just right for 12:30am. *stares at the fic in disbelief* The Nazgul working for Thranduil? *giggles* It must be early in the morning if I can find that funny.
RED DWARF SERIES II! For real this time. Spent most of today watching it an giggling. Got a little worried when I thought Rimmer left in series three, then after a bit of researching found it wasn't until about series six which was a relief - another three and a half series with the 'traditional' Red Dwarf crew! Although Holly a.k.a. Norman Lovett leaves at the start of series three *sniffs* Hilly was cool but never the same as Hol.

lillyv !!! You made me start reading all the Nightworld books again! *sighs* I've still got a ton of King Arthur stuff to get through. Hey I may go read now actually. When I was about ten on weekends I used to go to the library and come back with a stack of books, go to bed and read till about 5am because I couldn't put the book down. *blissful memories* So I may go do that now. Yey, reading!
