Wow. I'm so very glad I fell asleep - after what Roger did to me earlier, I might've burst something if I'd to sit through that. o_O

He won so *well*!!! I can't help but be so damn proud of him. He's been working on making his game better and this *proves* he's doing it. *joins in the snuggling*

*nods* I'm desperate for Andy to beat Roger before the U.S. Open. That would have to be the biggest confidence boost ever. ^__^ Everything does seem to be shaping up for a great, tense match tomorrow, though like you said, I *hope* it can live up to the hype now. Even though part of me doesn't care about anything but getting to see Andy and Roger on court together again. ^_____^ *dances*

I've been unspeakably impressed with him this week. He really did use to look like an idiot when he tried 'net points, but like my commentators have been pointing out all week, he *finally* looks like he's anticipating well at the net and winning points by being smart, not just by force. I can't wait to see how his new tricks measure up against Rog. :D

Just wait until you see the match tomorrow. I only had to wait a few hours to see it after the livescores and man, it is just an awesome match. Finally the Andy we all know and love returns! The final is going to be mind-blowing, I can already tell.

It was great to see another Andy-Roger match, even though Andy lost. Otherwise we'd have just had Roger flattening Lleyton again and that's getting really old by now.

I saw it earlier and oh wow, I *loved* it. Andy was unbelievable - I couldn't get over how, when he fell in the first set, he kept his eyes on the ball even when he hit the court. It was like "Go in go in go in it's in! Hey... I'm on the floor!" And it wasn't even that Lleyton was playing badly, Andy was just playing superb tennis.

I don't think he was *that* good in the final today though. *sighs* Maybe it's just playing Roger that gets into his head and makes him doubt himself.

Isn't it like part nineteen or something by now? ^__^ Dad said earlier "Doesn't anyone ELSE ever play in finals?!" I just wish Andy could've won, just once.

I got - well, I haven't checked my account yet but I *should* have - £110. She took £12 off our flat for 'Cleaning and Kitchen Repairs' which I'm outraged by - our flat was *spotless* - but it works out only £1.25 each, so it's not worth arguing over. £16 is a *lot*, especially considering we got pots of paint from Wilko's for 69p! I really don't like that woman.

I did. :) Except for Andy hurting his foot and it being very painful to watch him getting treatment. :( That part was just ouch.

Wasn't it just brilliant? Seriously, I wish I had it on tape so I could watch it again. It was just Andy at his top game, I loved it.

Yeah, the final wasn't that great, not for Andy at least. The first two games I was like oh wow, he could have this! Then it just kind of ... fell apart. But I'm not too depressed about it, he seemed to be okay and he still has his win over Hewitt and getting double prize money so it's all good. I just really wish he could have beat Federer again. Poor Andy.
