Mmmm, that fuzzy almost-3am braindead feeling.

The reason I'm still awake is that Sky is repeating Long Way Round at half one every Sunday night and I'm enjoying it so much that I keep ending up staying awake to watch it instead of just recording it. Ewan McGregor + motorcycles + insane round-the-world trip? What's not to love? I'm just sad I only picked up the repeats by accident after they'd already reached Mongolia. *sighs* Oh well.

Today I have been useless. For various whys, I haven't so much as picked up a pen to fic. *blinks* I did finish - finally - a banner for ebay_pierre and we went for a walk along the aqueduct and canal and managed to get lost. And almost attacked by a mini-dragonfly with a sting almost as long again as its entire body. Yes, I ran screaming away when it took off as I was leaning over to take a photo. Sssshhhh. Giant. Sting. Screaming seemed like a good option.

And I watched Rafa vs Andre and was a little shocked to realise that um, Andre plays quite good tennis. Okay, there was some awesome tennis in that match. Why that surprised me since he's *Agassi*, I don't know. I also drew the mournful conclusion that had it been Andy vs Rafa - was that even possible in the draw? I can't remember - then Andy would've been flattened. I loved Andy as number two in the world. I love the whole Roddick-Federer end to last year, with them facing each other in so many finals. Unfortunately, I can no longer even *try* to deny that Rafa really is the better tennis player. Andy's one match this week was... I hope it was just an off-day or that he got out of bed the wrong side or he hadn't had his morning caramel macchiato... *something*. If he does it again in Cincinnati, I will not be held responsible for flying there and hitting him with his own tennis racquet until he gets a clue.

But mostly? Today I have been useless. *nods* It's been a very Sunday-ish sort of day. And now I'm finally going to get some sleep. x_x

yay! I'm so excited! Actually, I just moved into school yesterday, and the internet is a bit frazzled, so I don't know when I'll be able to use it.

About Andy: I think the reason he hasn't been doing so well this year is because he's in the process of changing his game - trying to make it better, if that makes sense. He's attempting to come to net more among other things that he's never really done that often before and I don't think he's quite as comfortable with it all yet. So when he get's his rhytmn to his new game, I think he'll do better. *nods*

*nods thoughtfully* He really does seem to be trying everything differently. I wish he hadn't tried so hard to be different in the Wimbledon final - he almost had Roger beat with his tactics last year!! *sighs* - but it is good he's trying to get everything right.

I hope he finds his rhythm before the U.S. Open though. Not only would I give anything to see him win it again, I want him to at least move towards the top three rankings again.
