So, I just broke Sky.

Really. I'm blaming the Wimbledon final. I was checking out how long it was, ready to record it to DVD... and the Sky crashed. And now it's reset itself buuuuuutt... I'm getting nothing but the Blue Screen of d00m.

So I've given up and put The Terminal on in the background while I fic. I can only hope Sky does a miracle cure on itself. -_-

In other news? 11,088 words. Hence why no comments or anything are being answered right now - I am insanely trying to finish Halo. When I started writing this, I estimated it as being five thousand words, tops. *sighs* Right now I'm thinking at most 12,000, but hey, I'm not so much good with the guessing it would seem.

Okay, back to fic. Ngh. How was I writing 7,000 words of Halcyon in one marathon fic session again?

Edit: Sky is still broken. It just took me three tries to spell edit. Have figured out why I could stay up till six writing Halcyon; it's because I wasn't getting up before half nine every day. I give up and am going to bed.

On the plus side, I've written about 1,500 words today. Which is comforting when I'm so close to finishing I can *see* it, but I still have snaggy bits to get through until I'm there.

I really hope Sky has decided to work by morning. *sighs*

I feel bad for being ignorant about fic for the second time today, but what exactly is Halo? I haven't been reading anything long enough to know. *has a guilty and embarrassed look* Sorry.

*grins* Fun... fun... hmmmm.... ;-) Is has been kinda fun, it's just reached a point now where finishing it is going to be the best feeling in the world. And I'm so *very* close, so cliffhangers should be solved soon. *giggles*

Oh no, it's my fault. I've been posting snippets but they're all behind locked posts because it's a WiP and needs so much editing. It's just a Wimbledon fic that started as a little ficlet to make me want to write Datta, and then it turned into a fic and now it's almost longer than Bounty and I'm getting a little frustrated with it. You shouldn't be embarrased about not knowing it; I've just been rambling on about it without much explanation. :)

It's very close to finally being finished though, so it should be up soon I hope.

See, for some reason, I kept confusing it with the video game, which a bunch of my friends adore.

Is it in the Halcyon universe? Because I have yet to read that...sorry! I have to move back into school tomorrow and I've been gone all summer and I picked up on fic during exams. So I've barely been able to read everyone's latest fic, much less their old ones. But I really, really want to read Halcyon.
