My poor Photobucket.
Aug. 8th, 2005 01:40 amIt's really getting a kicking tonight. *pets it*
Okay, now this is a post in celebration of something. Remember that shiny piece of DVD-a-licious technology I acquired a week or so ago? Namely a DVD recorder? Well, with the help of numerous phone calls to my more technologically adept brother... I worked it out.
And what did I immediately record and cap? You really have to ask?
Wimbledon 2005 final. Of course. *grins*
I haven't recorded the whole match yet; I'm doing that a separate disc, so I can get the best quality possible, but I have recorded the pre-match interviews, the winning point and subsequent hug, and the post-match interviews. This is just a few caps, but Andy's pre-match interview had some beautiful capping moments. *pets his prettiness* I'll go through more throughly, and do some from the match itself too when I have time. I did discover that the cameras they use for interviews are of higher quality than the ones they use on court - the interviews come out far less fuzzy. Plus, they tend to stand still. I've never been so frustrated with Andy's neurotic jiggling from foot to foot before - it makes capping an unfuzzy picture very hard. *sighs*
Still, here they are, watermark-less, of a good size - better before I resized them for Photobucket - and a sign of *good* things to come. :D
EDIT: Forgot to say, though it might be obvious - quite a few big pictures under the cut, so beware of slow loading. *pets Photobucket worriedly*

This was from the pre-match montage and interview with Roger, and I couldn't resist. I hate kids, I really do but.. I made *cooing* noises. Because *baby Roger*. How damn adorable is he?

From a clip of the 04 final they showed. *cough*

I've been dying to cap this interview ever since I saw it. He's just so *pretty*.

I haven't been able to find an un-watermarked picture of this moment, so I had to cap it.

Roger when Andy was talking about how unbelievably good he is. I love that he looks so serious. He even looks a little guilty, if you ask me.

His reaction when Andy threatened to punch him. ^__^

Roger's post-match interview...

... and Andy's reaction.

And together.
I promise Montreal screencaps too, at least of Andy's matches and probably Rafa vs Carlos because I think I might be the only person in the world who likes the idea of that match, though it does suck as a first round and maybe a few others. It depends what I record and finalize to disc.
This might be the last thing I post tonight, so I just want to say HAVE AN AWESOME TRIP to
liroa15 and
shana0809. I will be thinking of you with envy and looking out for you in the crowd. Stay safe, have fun and kidnap Andy for me if you get the chance. Please? :)
