Dancing stripper bunny rabbits...
Jul. 23rd, 2005 02:00 amI don't like Marilyn Manson in general but it doesn't matter who's singing this song, it's awesome anyway. I should've written fic to it by now but it would inevitably be angsty and I'm working on enough angst right now, without introducing more. Sometime though.
I haven't been paying much attention to Andy this week and usually when I do that, he plays well. Unfortunately, he must've had a brain freeze or extra stupid pills today. Howinhell did he manage it, with a 6-0 record over Ginepri? *puzzles* I vote to punish our boys in fic for this week, because we are not amused. -_-
And - eventually - an update on
Latest attempt by the man to defeat Nemesis involved moving the bird feeder up the garden, to the tree nearest the house, along with the other two bird feeders. I think he was working on the theory that Nemesis wouldn't want to come too close to the house, or might simply not realise where the food had gone.
Once again, Nemesis proved that he is one smart squirrel.

Not only did he find the right tree, he also found that one of the other bird feeders - the hollow coconut with the hole in the side - was much more accessible for him than the nuts.
And so he ignored the other feeder, which was what had lured him up the garden in the first place, and made directly for the easier food source.

Possibly the man didn't quite think this one through.
MAN:0. SQUIRREL: 3
Nemesis is also getting cheekier. He actually came all the way up the garden to that tree with the man sitting out there on the patio next to it the other day. Somehow, I don't think this is a war the squirrel side is going to lose. *grins*
Somehow it's got to gone 2am and I haven't done anything. -_- Will see what happens tomorrow... have plenty to do, so I should accomplish *something*.
Night!

Date: 2005-07-23 02:57 am (UTC)I don't think he deserves punishment from us - the press is already going to. *snuggles him* Mardy was in the stands watching and I think he just wants to make Andy feel better, especially since all the press is probably going to write more crap about him tonight/tomorrow.

Date: 2005-07-23 03:04 am (UTC)but it was a sad match. Andy's brain just went insane. :(
Squirrels Vs Man
Date: 2005-07-23 09:23 am (UTC)They should invent a computer game Squirrel Vs Man, just to help you Dad outwit the squirrel, well try to!
On the subject of Tennis, Andy Murray is doing really well!! Hopefully he will automatically qualify for the USOpen. * fingers crossed *
Also, on the mystery on the disappearing cd-rom drive in my laptop - It is now fixed, the expert-type computer person said windows likes to do its own thing and delete stuff sometime. So, i can now send you Lost on CD- so hopefully i'll send them next week.

Date: 2005-07-23 01:52 pm (UTC)Ssshh! I'm rooting for the squirrel side here. Don't want to give Dad too many advantages. ;-)
*nods* It's nice to hear more about him, though Mardy did beat him the other day. At least he's getting into the bigger events now - we can only hope he won't even need to play qualifiers for the U.S.. ^__^ Wishful thinking though maybe. Might get a wildcard though, if we're lucky.
YYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYY!!! LOST!!! *dances* *kicks stupid Windows*
