clo_again... Just wrote an entry. Just lost an entry. Too tired to retype it, goddamit. *growls at LiveJournal*
Reached Cardiff okay! All is good, though my brother spends way too much time in bars. Didn't get here till around 4pm and I've already been to bars three times. *sighs* Total student mentality going on in this city.
If you have a nervous disposition? Don't go see The Descent. I *like* horror movies and I think it gave me a dire need for therapy. Seriously. On the plus side, the cinema - one of them - here is the *best*. I've neevr seen a screen that big.
Okay, off to catch up and f-list and try not to fall asleep in front of a DVD.

Date: 2005-07-09 11:10 pm (UTC)I'm terrified of scary movies. I get nervous even thinking about going to watch one. Big screen are cool. Practically ever Christmas, or whenever a good movie comes out, my family goes to Moody Gardens in Galveston to watch IMax movies.
I don't really know much about Cardiff. Is it nice there? I hope you have a good time. :)

Date: 2005-07-10 10:20 am (UTC)I usually like them but more the freaky 'get into your head' type of scary than 'omg it's behind you!' type. And this one was *very* much an 'OMGIT'SBEHINDYOURUNTHEFUCKAWAYAAAAHHH!!' sort of movie. Freaky. Veerrrry freaky. I love going to the movies though. :D There's just something about the whole experience; I could go every night and never get tired of it.
Cardiff's okay, has some great shops and a bay and some pretty buildings. But the population is something like 50% students and it shows. More bars than I've ever seen in my life. Should have a good time once I get my brother in line though, which make take a day or so. :)
