Well, there's not much else I can think of to say about London now. Just... yeah. Everyone I know down there has checked in okay, though the son of a family friend actually passed through King's Cross minutes before, and their daughter who would have usually been there happened to be in a meeting in Gatwick today. My cousin - who got safely to work beforehand - was also thinking of kipping down in his office for the night if the transport was going to be too bad for him to get home but at least everyone's safe.

You don't realise how many people you know in a city until you have to check up on them.

In other news, my mouth was frozen for most of the afternoon after my trip to the dentist. Root canal wasn't as bad as I expected - the puffed up face after was worse. Hope that's it over and done with now. Got taken out for dinner as a reward for good results once my mouth defrosted and that was awesome I've been told I need to talk more British so I can't say that anymore spiffy. Mmmmmmm, duck and pancakes. Nothing has ever tasted that gorgeous. And tomorrow I'm getting my hair cut ready to go down to Cardiff, where I'm now staying till Tuesday. Still should have limited 'net access while I'm there though, so that's okay.

Today has been... yeah. One of those days. *ponders quietly*

Not actual sweet pancakes-pancakes, the very thin, wrap kind. :) If you order Chinese, look for crispy duck... best food ever thought of. Mmmmm. *purrs into the petting* And don't worry, I'll be checking in every day. My bro has a waaaay better computer than me. ^__^

*grins* I get that reaction a lot. And I love that over there you eat pancakes for breakfast. That's pretty much like us eating ice cream for breakfast. Which I do, when it gets very hot. *grins* *purrs more under the petting* And no, it's bad! He keeps mocking me about how much faster his 'net connection is than mine whenever he calls. *giggles* At least I'll be able to make use of it this weekend.

*giggles* Me too. Cookies are indeed biscuits, or in my case when I'm feeling too lazy to pronounce the word, "Bikkits". You all seem to eat more crackers than us - my family at least only eats crackers with cheese and rarely at that. I'm going to spend most of my first trip to the US giggling at all the differences I think. *purrs even more* And good for me too, when I go to visit. ^____^ SO maybe I'll not plot revenge for the mocking. ;)

To be honest? I sat there the whole time and thought very hard about tennis slash and imagining Roger's reaction to Andy freaking out about going to the dentist. I think it was the only thing that kept me distracted enough not to run away. :) Andy hopefully now, tis done. *sighs*

*giggles* Anything even vaguely round and crunchy is labelled 'biscuit' here, though cookies seems to be getting more and more popular. And yep, the internet has corrupted me sufficiently that when someone says 'sidewalk' or 'trash', I don't even blink. Doesn't mean I'm not going to giggle my ass off the entire time I've over there. ^__^ *keeps purring* Very lucky. ^__^ means I can keep up with LJ while I'm down there, which makes it the perfect holiday. ^__^
