Y'know, for years whenever I've read on fandom_wank or LJs or websites, someone mentioning their degree in English, I've been more than a little envious. Because it's felt like "When's the day going to get here when *I* can back my opinion up with the fact that I did a degree in English?"

And I just realised that, as of this week, I'm a third of the way there. Huh. Cool.
