For reasons known only to myself - and really, not all that clearly to me either - I have resorted to casting main philosophers as Simpsons characters in order to help myself remember them.

As of now, Kant is Sideshow Bob. Am contemplating Aristotle. Knowing me, I'll probably have a complete list here by about two am.

This is how much sense Philosophy makes. Really.

EDIT: Aristotle has become Hans Moleman. J.S. Mill is Comic Book Guy.

This really makes Philosophy much more fun.

ROFL I am glad it's you studying Philosophy and not me! The only way I remember philosophers is through the Monty Python skits - the soccer one and the Philosophers song :) Whenever one of our ethics lecturers (hahah medical ethics *cough*) tries to bring up philosophy it usually results in Monty Python references so they gave up...
