Okay, I am supposed to be mired somewhere around the lack of a grand narrative in postmodernism right now but when greeniebach mentioned a surprising apparent lack of Mirka during Roger's match, I quickly hopped over to MTF's to take a quick look, because we all know how they like to gossip and I figured if anyone was talking about it, they would be. Only to find this...

"...just heard on NBC that Mardy Fish's wrist injury could keep him out until the end of the year."

Should've stayed with postmodernism. :-( It's less heartbreaking.

They were saying on NBC's coverage that he has to have surgery on his wrist and will probably be out for the year. I was trying to block it out. :-/ *sighs* I cannot get into the swing of the Tournament Results fics. :-(

It was around that. :-) I was listening to it more than I was watching it, but they usually talk about Mirka... although, I think they may have talked about her once or twice in that she's his business manager.

Well, I only heard NBC say it, and Mardy's site doesn't say anything. He has so many points to defend...argh, if he loses Queens and Olympics points, he'll barely be in the top 100.

But at least he'll have nothing to defend next year.
