In my idle search to see how noticable tennis slash is becoming in Google searches - I found a roundabout link to Deuce on the second page but nothing more apparent really - I came across this:
"This is not to say that Federer does not use the strong arm when required, for he can hit forehands and backhands of immense power. However, it is the sheer variety that is so thrilling. Whereas Roddick paints in primary colours, the Swiss master uses the full palette."
How good a metaphor is that for Andy and Roger? I mean, wow.
I am still working on Break Point, which I think has now decided to be the second-to-last part instead. The series wants a concluding ficlet afterwards. *sighs* Muses. Tense is still slowing me down, since I seem to have lost the ability to write consistently in 3rd person past tense and have to keep going back to change it. Gggrrrrr.
This was a random post, brought to you by random things at a random time of night.

EDIT: I finally, finally got Break Point working for me somewhat. Not finished but I've passed the 1,000 word mark at last and after that, it's usually all easy-going. *sighs* Don't know why it took me so long to get back into the right gear for this fic, but I've got it now, I hope.
Also just realised I need to rewrite my Creative Writing portfolio over the next three weeks. Woe. But I'll think about that tomorrow... right now, must get some sleep since I have a seminar in about... seven hours?
Night!
