Never again am I going shopping with my brother. We were out all day and I'm knackered. I'm considering a nap before I start writing up Halcyon 10 but half my hair is currently covered in red henna and wrapped in clingfilm, so it might be difficult. *ponders* I think I will though, just for an hour.
On the plus side, today did yield a new mobile - niiiice cheap mobile, that I'm still working out how to use - two new tops which I didn't need and feel guilty for buying but they were on sale!, coffee beans to fill bottles with as part of my room's 'cafe' decor, and... a couple of random things, all on sale but still more than I really wanted to spend. I also spent half an hour in the Sports section of Borders looking for tennis books - I found football (which was pretty much half the *large* Sports section), cricket, golf, baseball - which do we even play in Britain?!! - and a grand total of zero tennis books. I did find a chapter on going to Wimbledon in a book written by a hater of sports who decided to go around and try out different sports to see if he could make himself like them... it gave me the impression that (a) the British are obsessed with queues (which we are) and (b) that you can go to Wimbledon but actually watching tennis is optional. It also made me realise that we really need to queue overnight to get Centre Court tickets, or to even have a hope of getting them - the guy writing the book got up at half four and was in the queue before six and still only got the most basic of ground tickets when he got to the gates. So overnight queuing is in order if R is still speaking to me after me forgetting to email her back for the last two weeks *runs off to do it now while she's thinking about it*. Must answer all these emails. *headdesk* But not till the next two parts of Halcyon are done, since I'm on self-inflicted deadlines.
I've completely lost track of comments and who I owe them too. *sighs* I am currently crazy. Please forgive me.
Wherefore art thou
liroa15? You seem to disappeared somewhat - still evil work? *pets*
Okay, am off to nap and fic and pray that my hair doesn't turn orange (I'm attempting to dye the top layer red and leave the underneath almost-black, but no idea how the red will show up on my hair because I'm far too lazy to do a strand test.) I... I wouldn't recommend expecting H10 anytime before 4am my time, because you'll probably be disappointed. This is why I shouldn't go shopping all day!
