Almost there.
Mar. 28th, 2005 08:53 pmWell I have a room. It's basically four wallpapered-walls, a bed and an empty bookcase right now but at least they're my four walls. Waiting until tomorrow to put all the things up - clock, pictures etc - to let the wallpaper dry but I've checked and they all go with the colour of the walls, so by tomorrow night it should be looking like my room again. :)
Only now I have the mammoth task of unpacking all my books onto the bookcase. *sighs* And tomorrow I need to sort through everything I don't need - I have so much *junk*, I didn't realise - and throw out everything I don't need anymore, no matter how attached I am to it. The theme of this decorating is NO CLUTTER, so anything clutteresque is going out. Mmm. Peace and quiet...
Can't watch tennis. 'rents say there're other things they want to watch, namely godawful British soaps. On the day I rule the world, I will ban Eastenders, Coronation Street, Emmerdale... and there will be *good* TV. Like endless Buffy and Farscape repeats. Heh. :D
So yes, am mildly sulking because I did want to watch Henman's match. Caught the end of Gaudio's earlier and hid behind a pillow, whimpering about how guilty I felt, mock me
liroa15 and I'll let the muses loose with their angst. ;) Y'know, Coria is pretty. I like him. *pets*
This entry is solely to celebrate the fact I don't have to update from downstairs anymore, with 'rents leaning over my shoulder every three seconds going "Who're you talking to?!" "Who's eljay?" "What're you doing?!"
No I didn't nearly throw pointy objects at them today, why'd you ask? Oh I miss Lancaster.
Off to search for food because I'm starving and sneak looks at the tennis every time the man falls asleep. May be back later, if I don't pass out from tiredness. Four bloody hours sleep!
