clo_againRealised something tonight - when I'm thinking about biscuits, or thinking that 'I want a biscuit', it's always 'biscuit', not cookie. When I'm attempting to bribe someone, it's always 'I'll give you a cookie!' not 'I'll give you a biscuit!' And yet often I'm thinking about exactly the same type of biscuit. Is that weird or is it just me?
Then again, no weirder than a British person using American ratings for their fanfic I 'spose... ;)
Took down all the posters and pictures in my room today, to get ready to decorate it over the next few days. I didn't realise how many there were - the blue tack I got from them is almost the size of a tennis ball. It feels all empty and not like my room at all now, which makes me sad. *sighs* It was a fun room. Still, it'll be better - and totally different - when it's done, so I might even like it better. ^__^ Am going from African-themed - red and terracotta walls, red duvet, elephants and tiger stripes on everything - to a Parisian cafe theme. Will post pictures when it's eventually done... which at the rate it's going will be sometime next January.
Halcyon is now getting into the tricky parts where I have to come up with reasons for everything and make sure the continuity keeps flowing. Part six should be *fairly* straightforward; it's part seven onwards where I'm going to end up tripping over my own feet. I know where I want to go with it, and I know basically what's going to happen in each part, - it's going to work out at around nine or ten parts I think - it's just working out the little details. I think I should've stuck to the Bounty sequel. ^__^ Would've been far less complicated. ;) I still have a couple of surprises up my sleeve for Halcyon though - okay more than a couple - which I'm looking forward to outraging you all with. ;)![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

Since when did all the music channels became absolutely crap? -_- Finding them playing a good song is practically impossible. And if I hear one more R'nB song on what's supposed to be a rock channel... *stamps her foot* And a random observation? It's not fair that all the Corrs are pretty, it's really not. *sighs*

Okay I'm supposed to be catching up on emails and comments, so I'm off to keep doing that for a little while longer. Really should go to bed before 2am tonight but... eh. That would involve climbing the stairs and I'm too sleepy to do that right now. ^__^
