... Must. Not. Kill.
Feb. 16th, 2005 05:26 pmMy fairy tales book, which apparently they could send in 24 hours - I'd have thought twice about ordering it otherwise - is now going to take an estimated 1-2 weeks to get here... and my essay has to be done in four weeks. So either that book gets here in two weeks or less... or Amazon is going to get a damn good kicking. I'm sick of them messing me around. I order the books = they send me the books ON TIME - is that really *so* much to ask?! But what I'm really furious about is that the other books, which they have on hand and ready to send? Are now apparently going to be waiting two weeks to be sent and I need some of them sooner, because they're English course books. Some of them aren't even for me, they're for R. You know what, screw it, I may just cancel that goddamn book... oh wait; apparently being delivered before the 3rd March classes as being 'ready to dispatch soon' and I can't cancel anything at this point. There are going to be some very furious emails sent about this. Amazon, you have pissed me off beyond belief... again.
Assholes.
In other news my essay was completed, handed in on time and my Creative Writing is planned and just needs to be written up. And since it's only allowed to be 1,000 words, I may even finish it on time for once. Then tomorrow I'm going to spend sleeping and ficcing since workmen are coming to fix our bathrooms before 4pm and I want to be in my room when they're here. Paranoia, paranoia... that and I'll need to throw something over the fish tank to hide it. So the final part of Parisian Dreams will be posted tomorrow and then I'm moving onto the Mardy/Andy fic Through Shadow which is shaping up to be fairly long, so I may post it in parts too, maybe a part a week until Easter in between smaller fics, I don't know. I need to get Parisian Dreams done first, then I'll think about the next fic.
I should stop watching the news. It just depresses me. *sighs*
I just realised how much tennis is going to be TV on when I'm home over Easter and it's made me a very very happy bunny. :D And...
*pauses*
*opens mouth*
*closes mouth wordlessly*
I just sent a complaining email to Amazon literally five minutes ago.
Then I reload my Inbox... to find they've literally *just* dispatched ALL my stuff.
I... I don't know what to say.
Possibly I owe Amazon an apology.
*speechless*
