clo_againWhy does my Dad just NOT understand how to treat my cat? He's an imbecile. My cat (Casper) has a way of telling you he wants something, either scratching at the sofa, or jumping up on you or just giving you a 'look'. But my dad treats him like he's stupid and doesn't understand anything but Casper *does* understand a lot more than my dad gives him credit for - I've been at home on my own all day and when Casper wanted food he knew all he had to do was come over and look at me - when he does that to my dad, my dad just yells at him so he resorts to scratching the furniture to get his message across. WHY can't my dad get it through his head that just because he can't talk, Casper is NOT STUPID!! Arrggh! Men!
Anyway, leaving behind the stupidities of my family, I'm attempting to join that What Would the Fellowship Do? thing that y2Jai mentioned as Pippen but my mind isn't working right so I'm having trouble simply getting how to join *sighs* And yes I just hit enter when I didn't mean to. Who designed keyboards like this - isn't there a better place to put the Enter button where you wouldn't keep hitting it by accident?! *grumbles* But when I was reading the descriptions Pippen seemed perfect - even though I am a definite Legolas fan, Pippen's always been my favourite hobbit. You know what, I give up - I haven't got the energy to work this out right now. Maybe later when I've calmed down.
Okay, after this entry of love-and-light I'll move on to better topics. I have been incredibly lazy today and haven't typed anything, although I have designed a pretty Glass Unicorn Award pic. So I've been reading my book all day - The Golden Fool by Robin Hobb which is about two of my favourite characters in the literary world - Fitz and The Fool *wriggles in delight* I can't say much for fear of spoiling the books for people who haven't read them, but believe me I have never come across a more *potentially* slashy series than the Farseer trilogy and I can't find ONE TINY BIT OF FITZ/FOOL *anywhere*. It's mad - although understandable in a way but still there should be something! And I'm going to have to be quiet before I give the main plot arc away but never have I wanted two characters to end up together more and that, my friends is exactly what Robin Hobb is aiming for and she knows exactly how to drag the tension out. Damn all these brilliant authors who know how to get me suckered in. I'm amazed that I hadn't found Robin Hobb before I picked 'Assasin's Apprentice' up in Waterstones a few months ago - since then I haven't been able to put any of her books down. Which is a good thing when I'm running out of good fantasy series to get involved in.
I've put myself in a wriggly, giggly mood now. And that sentence just backs up a quiz I took - I took the same one ages ago and was annoyed when I got 'Poet' since I'm terrible at writing poetry (the wriggly-giggly comment none-with-standing) so when I found the link I took it again - and guess what I got?
