clo_againShopping is very bad for me. Came home with two CDs, Lush cleanser, a black fluffy poncho and a lollipop. Am mournful because I just realised we didn't go to the Rainforest shop and I probably won;t go now for about two months. Woe. On the plus side, I got both CDs I wanted. Go me!
Went out for a drink with people from college tonight and it was fun to see everyone again. Somewhat foolishly gave them all an open invitation to just show up in Lancaster and crash in our flat. However I trust them to leave Lancaster in one piece. Just.
Muses are starting to fret. I haven't written tennis slash in... too long. I *did* get my creative writing piece finished and emailed to the group before the midnight deadline yesterday, but since only three of us have actually bothered to do it, it seems a little pointless. Essay plan is not done. Having read through a stack of research the size of a small house, am still not sure how to relate liberal humanism to Hamlet. I know that I will write this essay and I know that I will hand it on on time on Monday... it's just right now I'm not sure how. *sighs* But I'll manage it. Pressure works wonders on me and getting a chunk of it done tomorrow will help.
I have a het pairing icon. A RL couple no less. Oh look, see those four Horsemen galloping past your window raining down fire? But they are sweet... And Mirka shows up in my tennis slash more often now. Hhmm.
I'm still worried about LJ being sold. However I've got a paid account until October and if Brad says nothing will change, I'm perfectly happy to stick around until things do. After the initial shock I'm willing to take a backseat and watch how it all unfolds. I love my LJ. It'll take something big to drive me away.
I'm now off to get a hot chocolate and start my essay plan. If I get it done, I may allow myself to work on some fic. However it'll probably be next Wednesday or so before I get anything actually up and posted. I promise to make up for the wait. ;) The plotbunnies don't like being ignored.
To conclude - I adore this song. I always have. It's beautiful.
