(no subject)

You know, I've never considered it this way but D.A.A.S. Kapital involves an AU future where DAAS themselves are stuck on a submarine museum. They use their actual names etc. Likewise D.A.A.S. Book has them actually having (from my first flick-through, extremely random and potentially nauseating) adventures.

So technically, they're writing fanfiction about themselves. They're writing self-insert fanfiction. Which people are paying for (or would be in the case of D.A.A.S. Kapital if they'd bloody well release it on DVD!).

So when celebrities write self-insert fanfiction with themselves... we'll pay for it.*

That's a bit of a mindfuck. Hm.


*Admittedly they did have things like a. talent and b. a budget, two things lacking from a not-inconsiderable percentage of fanfic so, fair's fair. And I will totally be buying D.A.A.S. Kapital if they ever release it, damn them.

Also their's probably has slightly less porn. But on the basis of one look at Book, only slightly.
