Feb. 21st, 2009 01:23 pmSo my parents went back to Wales this weekend for a wedding, and were calling at the house this morning to pick up post. In addition to a DVD from play.com I'd been wondering about (I really must change that address -_-), I also had my Wimbledon ballot letter. And I have two tickets! For Centre Court!
For the first Monday.
Any other year, this would've been a cause for celebration. I'd be running up and down the stairs shrieking with joy right now. This year, I'm wondering if I should bother, and not because I shouldn't be spending the money before Oz either.
Maybe I can smuggle some rotton fruit in. It'd be worth getting kicked out of Wimbledon for the moment of sheer satisfaction.
Edit: I TAKE IT ALL BACK, MY PARENTS JUST CALLED BACK TO SAY ACTUALLY, IT'S MONDAY *29TH*.
I apologise for contemplating throwing rotton fruit at Rafael Nadal. Really. Genuinely. From the bottom of my heart.
...Not really.
The downside is that the tickets for the second Monday are almost double the price of the first. :-/ Can I really afford that right now?
