May. 9th, 2008 12:51 pmThere's hardly anyone in the office today so I'm listening to Radio 2. In a discussion of ITV's rigged phone-in competitions, one man had a rant about His Webbyness' temper tantrum on I'd Do Anything a couple of weeks ago; his exact argument was "Andrew would've got his way if the public hadn't called in, leaving us with a Nancy we didn't like no matter how good Andrew thinks she is. The intellectual idiots need the public's opinion." He was quickly cut off a few sentences later; you could almost hear the panicked flailing of the radio staff in the background.
Heh. I love crazy radio callers. Though I'm a little disappointed he wasn't ranting over how Nancy's totally rigged anyway, because I'd love some sort of official discussion on that.
