Am in no way bored. Really.

Well, not really bored-bored. More the bored where you have a ton of stuff to do but most of it's boring so you can't be bothered. Also I'm hungry and have to make my stir-fry but... can't be bothered.
Watched a bit of New Earth earlier subtitled with the sound off (parental on phone) and couldn't help reflectng that it was better without quite so much exuberance from The Tennant. I mean, I could remember his inflections on the lines but without the sound I could mentally tone the hyperness down a bit. I love him but I can see why people don't like his Doctor so much.
That said, he did have a crap episode in NE. Couldn't they have written some sort of steam-cleansing into the lift and had the Boil People breathe it in instead? At least that would've made slightly more sense with the intravenous thing. Not much probably, from a medical point of view but slightly.
Other news. Parental realised tonight (see above phone call) that they've given my brother a lot of money over the last year and he's wasted it. In the process of realising which, she seemed to realise that I'd actually managed my money better, had less spending money off them and was infinitely more sensible.
This may translate into less fights and more rats. Especially if I get a job. Excellent.
