One final question before I go to bed -

Do Americans refer to mobile phones as 'cell phones'? Do you ever call them 'mobiles' or 'mobile phones' or is that mainly a British thing?

And on that note - and the news that Bounty has reached 10,453 words and the weather in Texas sucks and one of my flatmates just got home (it's 3am) - I'm going to bed.

Where I'm from, most people say just "cell", not "cellphone", which I find really annoying from some reason (it reminds me of ditzy teenage girls). After that, "cellphone". But professionally (like on a buisness card or resume) I've usually seen "mobile". Very confusing. *shrug*

where I am they are generally refered to as just cells. The can also be called cell phones, or celluar phones. I've heard moblie a couple of times but it's not common.

I'm Canadian, so it's not quite the same, but I've never called it a mobile in my life. It's always, always, always cell phone. Not even cellular phone, just cell phone.

*nods* I suspected mobile was very British but just wanted to check. It's for Mardy using his phone in Bounty so I thought the American name would be more appropriate than the British. ^__^

That's actually a sensible question in comparison to some of the ones Andy gets asked on his message board which seem to generally consist of "Andy OMGLOLILOVEYOU MARRY ME?!!"

I liked the one about the crayons. I really did. Although I'm not sure what colour crayon I'd be, Andy would be something super bright and loud. maybe something neon. ;)

*dies of giggles* Well y'know, what colour crayon you'd be says a lot about you. (don't know what I'd be either) ;-) Andy would *definitely* be one of the super bright ones. Maybe a neon yellow or green...

Roger'd be something dark and subtle. Maybe the darkest red or navy blue.

Oh my god Andy and Roger's crayon colours would clash so badly. o_O

It's dawning on me that we may have started something here. The amount of people who've said "Tennis slash! I've been looking/waiting/hoping for that!" is becoming a little spooky. Maybe all this fandom needed was a good kick to get it started... and now we've done it, it's way too late to turn back.

But we may have given life to a whole new fandom. We should be proud. ^__^

Then please for the sake of your sanity and the tennis fandom, never ever visit tennisfanfic. It's too bad even to be funny. My Andy muse bursts into tears every time I mention it.

It's places like that which make me realise just how bad Andy Roddick fans are for the world of tennis. *sigh*
