(no subject)

Dear feet,

I'm well aware I bought the wrong shoes. I'm also aware that, worse, I crammed you into them and wore them pretty much seven hours straight under a long-and-difficult-to-walk-in dress.

Still, that's absolutely no reason to be complaining this much. I mean it. Damn you.

Tired. Exhausted. Glad to be be home but had fun. Maybe photos when I collect them off the various people who took them of us since I still haven't got a digital camera AND forgot to take my throwaway one. Got a couple of the smart professional ones done too, of me, K, K's other half and Fresher, then just one of me and K that I'm hoping comes out pretty since I was very firmly told by the 'rents to get a properly done photo of me in a dress and I'm hoping me + K will do since I felt too dumb getting one on my own. I'm in my dress, what more do they want?

Need shower like I need air right now. Yeses. But it's finally starting to feel Christmassy. :)

Snooping around the nifty Torchwood site, was idly reading this page when I realised why the first picture looks so familiar -- it's pretty much taken from the balcony of my brother's old flat. It's meant to be from a 'security camera' so if it *is* it'd be attached to the wall next to the balcony but that's their car park in the front of the road down at the right and... and I've stood pretty much exactly where that picture was taken from. Which, when most of my favourite shows are American or happen in London, is *such* a weird feeling.

I love Cardiff. Going down there again after Christmas and can't wait. ^_^ It's a place filled with shiny and awesome, not to mention Doctor Who and Torchwood. John Barrowman AND David Tennant live there; what more can you ask for in a place?

I need Cardiff and Torchwood icons. Should fix that sometime soon.

edit: How good is this Christmas going to be for TV? Not to mention we get Hogfather too. *stamps feet* Want it all now!
