While I'm thoroughly engrossed in the act of Doing No Work And Failing Second Year Uni, have a fic rec:

Downtime by cryptile, Doctor Who, PG-13, maybe the vaguest hints of Ten/Rose but mainly just Ten, done *so* very well and a look at what might have happened in the gap between The Christmas Invasion and New Earth. Rose dealing in an offstage way and the Doctor having *staring contests with graffiti*, so. Much. Love. There are no words for the fantasticness of this fic's structure, no words at all and it's stream of consciousness in all the best ways.


Now, work. Okay shower and dressed first, then work.

JUST OVER TWO HOURS TO THE NEXT NEW DR. WHO. Exciting enough to jusitfy the capslock yes. But more exciting is that I'm actually developing a fondness for structuralism. Not enough to have it's structure-obssessed-little-babies but enough to maybe pat it on the head and feed it cookies every once in a while.

Do not remind me of this post when I'm tying myself in knots trying to find a way to relate Lolita to it in the next few days. Feed it *cookies*. I'm clinging to the happy place.

My flist and LJ gives me the best music. My playlist this afternoon has been beyond awesome and that helps with the happy. If I pass this year, I'll need to give something back in return for the music that'll have got me through all this coursework. Hhmm.

It was wolves8's first ever episode of Dr Who watching which was slightly shocking but then she got major cookies for liking David Tennant. There was happiness. And me laughing at her hiding behind a pillow which there may possibly be retribution for in future.

OMGsogood. And *Tor*- no, cannot put in another spoiler cut because I can't be bothered. But that thing with the setting-up for future episodes and *GLEE*.

Now back to work with a silly smile. After I call the 'rents to make sure it got Sky+ed and they're DVDing it as I type to post to me.
