Another reason I'm very glad I decided to stay up and wash my hair tonight instead of in the morning is that some random girl just called. Asking for, I think "Suzie" but she was rather incoherent and possibly drunk, so I told her she had the wrong number and hung up. Second later, the phone rings again. *facepalm* I didn't answer. Anyone dense enough to get the wrong number *twice* at gone 1am is just... *sigh* She should be glad she didn't wake me up or she might've got a less polite answer.

I've decided something. If I work the next few weeks, ie. pay attention in seminars, lectures, do the reading and the work *before*, start working on my portfolios, always submit for creative writing, answer emails on time, write fic and generally be much more motivated than I have been these last two months - then I get a present. Maybe the first season of House, maybe Doctor Who or The West Wing or Hustle, *something* that I really want and wouldn't otherwise let myself buy. But I've gotta be good. Today's got off to a great start I think - I wrote a poem in fifteen minutes and submitted only ten minutes past the 9am deadline! Improvement on a day late! Yay! - so, all I have to do is keep it up.

In light of which I'm going to sort my washing, get some strawberry tea and work on Datta while my hair dries. Getting up 9am to do washing but eh, sleep. Who needs it? :)
