Jan. 23rd, 2006 01:08 pmFeel better than I did earlier. Yay! I'm inclined to think it's as much thanks to the four cups of tea as it is the Nurofen. Tea. Miracle cure of the British. :)
What on earth is going on in the Roger-Tommy match? This is one I wish I could watch because dude, Roger bagelling Tommy then promptly losing the next two sets? If you see Four Horsemen go galloping through the sky, don't be too surprised. ;) Shockingly I'm not bothered that Roger's losing because hey, it's Tommy! With his apparently super-powered new hairstyle that's grown on me since last week. A tiny part of me wants Roger to win this so he still has a chance of a Grand Slam this year -- admit it. It'd get tennis some great news coverage if he did win all four -- but it'd also be nice to see Hasi win. Except for the tiny worry about the people ahead of him. Who would he have to beat, Nalbandian and Ljubicic? My dislike of Ljubicic equals the rest of the world's and is only equalled by my dislike of Nalbandian which is seemingly not echoed by the rest of the world, though that still doesn't change my mind. If I was confident Hasi could win this overall, I'd be cheering him on right now... as it is I'm still a little hesitant. The plot bunny gnawing my leg that needs Roger to lose is definitely swaying me though.
By the way,
kindoftrouble is the devil. Just thought you all should know. ;-) Actually, she DENIES she's the devil but then, if my Victorian lit tutor accused me of spending all the time I should've been reading Middlemarch on Windows Movie maker, I'd deny that too... ;-)
