(no subject)

'wake before 9am on a Sunday. Oh look, four Horsemen just rode past my window.

Stupid washing making me get up this early. *grumbles* Early. So very early. I need caffeine.

Thing is, we have terrible soundproofing between the doors and the corridor.

Between rooms is great but if anyone's talking outside, it's as if they're talking in the room with you. And our freshers have a habit of congregating with the freshers from next door, in the corridor, outside my room, and talking for hours. Like they are now.

What's wrong with going into one of their rooms? That's what we did last year! It's not as if it's hard; hell, it'd probably be more comfortable.

Sigh.

edit: Ah. Gone. Blissful silence. Plus I now have episodes 2-6 of Lost season 2 - -though there's no episode one? Wtf? They have 2-9 but not one? -- and someone's downloading Top Gear from me which amuses me greatly and I'm downloading Curse of the Were-Rabbit because I haven't seen it and I need something to fill the sad void of lack of the Top Gear tonight. All in all, it' been a very illegally productive ten minutes. :)

Only wolves8 depressed me by telling me she's on page 400+ of Middlemarch. Compared to my 23, that's somewhat, um... yes. Will go and start reading soon.
