Nov. 24th, 2005 04:10 pmL -- who needs to get an LJ :) -- and
wolves8 inform me that it's going to snow tomorrow. The BBC weather forecast disagrees by forecasting rain but then has articles which contradict its own weather prediction by saying Scotland, Ireland and Wales could have up to 25cm of snow. I'm bitterly amused that, once again, Wales gets snow when I'm not there. More with the bitter, not quite so much with the amused, because of all the places they've predicted it for, guess where is least likely to get any?
Oh look, North-west England isn't going to get any snow! WHAT A SURPRISE.
I'm moving back to Wales. Dumb, sucky, snowless city that you are Lancaster. Grrrr.
Though we are going up to Windermere -- big lake. Pretty and quaint and not-quite-Scottish -- tomorrow, which is further north. Maybe we'll see at least *some* snow there. The warning "On Friday, it will feel more like -5 to -10°C in most of the towns and cities across the UK due to the strength of the wind." is not at all reassuring though.
British weather. Sigh.
