Bush jokes never fail to be funny )

The stupidity of people never ceases to amaze me. Walking back to college earlier, -- keeping in mind it was at most 3°C (around 37°F) outside today -- a girl walked past me wearing a red mini-skirt and mid-calf length boots, no tights. She looked freezing. She was carrying books, so she was only going to a lecture and the jumper/sweater she was wearing would've gone fine with jeans. There was absolutely no reason for her to be freezing her kneecaps off in a mini-skirt.

People are crazy. :)

Campus has been shrouded in fog for the last two days, worse than I've ever seen before. For example if I look out my window, I can usually see the car park below, a road and a few miles of fields going into the distance. For the last two days, I've barely been able to see the end of the car park. At first it was quite romantic and mysterious but now everything is damp and cold and we didn't even have the sun today that we did yesterday, so everything's been dark and grey. You can almost feel the damp clinging to you every time you go outside. Good news is that there's sleet forcast for the end of the week, which means there's a possiblity of snow soon. Not that Lancaster ever *gets* proper snow, trust me for picking the warmest damn place in the entire country, but I can hope.

I'm trying to convince myself that I have too much work to do to fic tonight, even though flatmates descending on me last night meant I didn't get anything done. It's entirely too tempting. Hhmm.

I just spent at least half an entry talking about the weather. I am so completely British. Sigh.
