Transcriptions of Andy and Roger's post-final interviews for <user site="livejournal.com" user="gree

I say 'transcriptions' but they're not exact, not to the point where I timed the pauses like they taught us in English. *rolls eyes* I did keep all the 'uh's and 'um's in, plus the repetitions and hesitations. I think it's so much easier to really get the feel of an interview from just the transcription if you know *how* things were said. :) There's Andy's interview, Roger's interview and then a couple of quotes from the interview Roger did with Sky from on-court a few minutes later. greeniebach, Roger didn't say he was *looking forward* to playing Andy after all - sort of the opposite, I didn't remember exactly what he'd said - but he did say he hoped they were on opposite sides of the draw at the U.S. Open, so they wouldn't meet until the final. It's very slashy still. :)

I personally think they're adorable about each other. Now if Andy could just start *winning* a few matches... But until then, I guess hearing Roger giggle into the mic after each win isn't so bad. :) My commentators joked about although their rivalry on the tennis court is one-sided, they now have a rivalry going to see who can give the best post-match interview. ^__^ Andy's winning that one I think.

I also finally caught the episode of Punk'd with Andy in it, so I got to watch it on the big TV. *giggles* Poor Andy. He didn't get mad, he got sarcastic. It was so cute, though he should probably be glad that wasn't a real police officer he was snarking at. *grins*

Okay, I'm off to move the laptop to a cooler room now. -_- My bedroom is way too hot tonight.

edit:And also also, I finally saw an episode of House last night which I've heard people talking about, but never found any other reference to. I was starting to think it was all a conspiracy to make me believe in a show that didn't exist, so I spent a few blankly amazed seconds staring at the TV guide when I found it on the Hallmark channel last night.

It was good. Plot was a little iffy - perhaps because I haven't seen anything before it, so I had no idea what was going on, but the acting was superb, and the dialogue was full of shiny snark. Going to watch it again next week. :)

Only it's on at 1am. Long Way Round is on at 1:40am. Why is all the stuff I want to watch on at times when I have to have the sound really low so I don't wake the 'rents? -_-
