Okay, I am supposed to be mired somewhere around the lack of a grand narrative in postmodernism right now but when greeniebach mentioned a surprising apparent lack of Mirka during Roger's match, I quickly hopped over to MTF's to take a quick look, because we all know how they like to gossip and I figured if anyone was talking about it, they would be. Only to find this...

Should've stayed with postmodernism. :-( It's less heartbreaking.

You know it's time to go to bed when you read the words "queer sexual identities" in your notes and your first response is "What?!! Where?!" *blinks* Though I was equally confused by the next thing which was 'mass marketing of pornography'.

Did I *miss* something in my English lectures this year?!

Anyway, a postmodern headache has caught up with me and I'm off to bed. *yawns* At least I got some work done today. Hopefully tomorrow Ill be able to balance doing work with fic. Hhhmm.

Our poor boys. *sighs* I'll try to dream of a happy Wimbledon for you all.

EDIT: Okay not so much with the going to bed now. S was revising in the room next door to me (which is K's but she's finished her exams and lent her room to S as a 'study room' now she's gone home) and left for a minute to get some notes. Came back - and the door was jammed. I stuck my head out to see what the banging was and between five of us - told you no one ever really sleeps in this flat - , we still couldn't make it open. It's not locked, it opens too far for that but we think the automatic closer bar at the top has dropped somehow and is getting stuck. S has an exam in the morning - in about six hours actually - and all her notes are in that room.

S and flatmate of d00m - who we woke up during our door banging - have gone to beg the porter to come help. I get the feeling I shouldn't bother going to sleep yet. *sighs*

Life in this flat is never dull, I'll say that for it.

Well I guess I've been a little productive.

I did some work earlier and I'm going to do more tonight, to finish with postmodernism and move on to Victorians. No there is no logic in that order, it's just what I feel like. :)

Also been into town to get S a birthday present - unfortunately ended up with flatmate of d00m tagging along with a friend but her friend had a car and it saved me the bus fare so... *shrugs* Got S a pretty necklace from my favourite jewellery shop, so that was good, then flatmate & friend went clothes shopping while I got bits and pieces. Was amused when I walked into Smiths to get a £1.20 newspaper and walked out five minutes later with £10 worth of tennis magazines. I found a copy of the latest issue of Ace to send to liroa15 but I don't think it'll fit in this envelope, so it might have to come with the t-shirts when they get done. It should've been more expensive but they undercharged me for a one, so I was smug and relieved, since I'm now broke. Which isn't stopping me buying myself a cd as a reward for actually doing some work.

Am debating whether or not I can walk to the shop for bread or if I'm too tired and should go tomorrow. *contemplates* It'd be a good thing to wake me up in the morning I guess. Plus I'm absolutely starving right now and I think food, any food, should be a priority. *yawns* And maybe a nap.

But after that I think I'll fic before doing some more work. My Andy and Roger muses are begging for attention. No sympathy for their overworked owner. *pets them*

EDIT: Okay I lied, I'm still planning and I need some help, or rather some suggestions.

I need a fetish for Roger. Something that he'd be a little embarrassed to admit but which Underneath!Andy would be willing to do (which speaking as someone who knows the backstory, actually covers quite a lot of stuff.)

If it can be done with anything that's likely to be found in Roger's house, it'll show up in the next part of Underneath. ;-) And no, it won't be Roger's carte blanche. That's extra. ^__^
