Summary: … The world ended. People didn’t. Not quite.
Notes: AU fic set in a hypothetical post-‘apocalyptic’ near future (I do love my apocalypses and jumping on the current AU bandwagon seemed like a good idea.) But this is one plot bunny that hasn’t had enough caffeine to sort itself out yet and I’m still sorting the threads out, so bear with me. Centred mainly around Roger’s POV with side trips into... well that would be telling. ;)

for scoobydumblonde. The first one worked, but the second proved a little more trouble. The other one has a crazy perspective and goes over a lot of fiddly bits, so not sure if that'll be worth doing. No harm in trying I guess. :)

Other than spending the morning engaged in such sweet illegal activities, I also put up the curtains we bought and dyed black yesterday. Which had, amusingly but unfortunately, shrunk in the wash and are now a good four inches too short. *quietly beats her head against the wall* So we're going to buy the longer length in the same curtains, more dye and dye those, using the short ones as linings. No, I am not ready to strangle something by this point. Really. But we're *almost* there - I just hope we can get the same curtains in the longer length. *sighs* Fingers crossed.

I adore this song. I adore this entire album and pretty much adore Green Day too. I need a Green Day icon. *contemplates* Anyone know where I can find caps from the video for this song? I'm sure I looked for them before and couldn't find any, but they would make some great icons.

Okay, am still crazily busy so must go get dressed, answer emails, write letters, sort postcard tennis fic challenge out... must do that by Saturday. Oh, and I get to see Roger vs Tim tonight, I hope. :D But the big question is, who do I support? I hate this decision. I'd love for Tim to win something, I would, he's adorable but it's Roger... *sighs* Maybe I'll just be neutral.

EDIT: Hey, I just realised I was supposed to be in Cardiff for the next few days. Change of plans - the brother decided to come up here in two weeks and I'm going down to stay there when we see R.E.M. in July, so it was sort of pointless to go now. *sighs* At least it'll give me time to catch up on some things. I'm so behind in *everything*.
