Okay, essay is TECHNICALLY finished, except for the bibliography and it's a hundred words too long, so I need to read through and cut a few things out. Oh and I'm currently running on about nine hours sleep from over the last two days and it is not pretty. It's a question of when I'll pass out more than if, but I'm kinda hoping I get my essay done first. And that the 'rents don't come to pick me up until this afternoon, because I have no time.

Anyway I have to run - okay stagger - because I have too much to do and I don't know if I'll get back online before I go home, and our internet at home is notoriously fickle so... if I disappear for the next month, that's why. :)

Oh I need sleep. x_x

Am home intact, though parental was not impressed to reach Lancaster - twenty-bloody-minutes earlier than they told me! - to find me unpacked, essay un-handed in and general mad confusion. However thankfully we survived the packing process, the fish survived the father's inept attempts to catch them (I finally ordered him to stop scaring them, took over and Gonzo practically leapt into the jug for me. *smirks*) and are now safely ensconced in their shiny new fish bowl. Only the 'rents forgot to buy gravel for it, so that's my first task tomorrow. I want some sparkly blue stuff to match the tank and because I like shiny things. Will take photos to post when the 'rents retrieve the digital camera from wherever they've lost it, since I haven't gratuitously spammed my LJ with fish pictures yet, even though I've had them two months. Tut tut. What kind of LJer am I? :)

Had fun on the trip home - passed a bus full of teenage guys, we think going to the rugby, who were holding up a sign in the back window that said 'GET UR TITS OUT'. Despite horrified parental protests - although actually dad was encouraging me - I held one up back that said 'GET URS OUT 1ST'. There was much hilarity from everyone. ;) Unfortunately we passed them before I could see if they agreed to the terms, but it was fun while it lasted. *giggles*

Okay, have to unpack a little - though it's all getting packed up again in two days for me to decorate. *rolls eyes* - go downstairs and be sociable with visitors, possibly hijack the Ben & Jerrys ice cream and then see if I can catch up on some fic comments before I fall asleep. Or maybe I'll just sleep now. Mmm. Sleep...

I'm so glad it's the holidays. :)

Ngh. Brain has ceased to function; sleep is looking better and better. Will start the Great Easter Comment Catch-up tomorrow.

To which I can only say: "It is not. I resent that... Slander is spoken. In print, it's libel."

People amuse me greatly. *grins*

Bed now. Stuff tomorrow. Perhaps fic since the muses are gnawing on my ankles again but don't quote me on that. Definitely not Halcyon 5 till at least Sunday/Monday.
