clo_again: (Devilish Angel - Roger)
Brief panic when the internet decided misbehave and refused to work but disconnecting and reconnecting a few times seemed to un-confuse it. Most bizarre. It's nice to be back on sweet, uncomplicated university internet -when it works that is - though. *happy sigh* The one at home is good just... awkward sometimes. It is nice to be back in a way. Though at the same time having parentals cook for you is *wonderful*. ^__^ I hate having to cook for myself sometimes.

Much sooner than expected, there'll be more tennis slash tonight since [livejournal.com profile] liroa15 had a bad day and deserves some. Plus I've had the next two parts of the Pretty Close to Invincible series sitting around for a while, waiting for some minor editing before they get posted so it shouldn't even take time away from working on the English presentation. I'm going to spend a few hours doing English, because I'm going to have to stand up and spend five minutes tomorrow talking about a subject I have no clue about at all and that means research, then I'll edit and get the fic up probably between eightish-nineish my time. Which means Play Suspended will need to be updated again. *sighs* Though it is good in a way, because it means the world is becoming filled with tennis slash. Yay! And it's so totally our faults. Heh. ^__~

Oh I just realised I need to do Creative Writing crits tonight too... but I can do those after I post fic. I could even watch Wimbledon at the same time. *contemplates* Sounds like a plan to me.

So! Fic later. Work now. *sighs*

And anything is better than actually doing English. For [livejournal.com profile] liroa15 who had a really bad today. Hope today is better. *hugs*

Title: Just to Make You Smile (part 3 of the Pretty Close to Invincible series)
Rating: PG-13 (swearing)
Pairing: Roddick/Federer (implied)
Summary: Andy’s feeling a little depressed after Wimbledon and being unable to play for a few days. A delivery from Roger cheers him up.
Disclaimer: Not mine, for which they are probably eternally thankful. Didn't happen, blame the crazy plotbunnies that won't leave me alone. Ever.
Notes: Written... last summer actually. Set after Wimbledon, when Andy developed a minor thigh injury. Some minor editing, but as usual not nearly enough. Sequel to Match Over and followed by Softer Than Feathers.

Title: Softer Than Feathers (part 4 of the Pretty Close to Invincible series)
Rating: NC-17
Pairing: Roddick/Federer (implied)
Summary: Exhausted from Wimbledon and Gstaad, Roger needs a little while alone to let it all sink in and to reflect on what happened with Andy.
Disclaimer: Not mine, for which they are probably eternally thankful. Didn't happen, blame the crazy plotbunnies that won't leave me alone. Ever.
Notes: Also written last summer. Set after Wimbledon and Gstaad, which were right after each other and both of which Roger won. I had no idea where he'd be and improvised. Some minor editing, but as usual not nearly enough. Sequel to Just to Make You Smile and to be followed soon by part five, Out of Mind.

To work now. *sighs*
