What is *with* people lately?

I've had about four emails saying 'I'm updating my address book! Please click this link!' Frankly it's your sodding address book and I'm not signing up to a random site when you can buy a pen and an actual address book and 'update' it yourself without filling my inbox with spam. Not to mention blatently untrue fwds I keep getting from everyone - there's also something very wrong about using children dying Africa to make people send junk mail. Christ, start an online petition or write letters of go chain yourself to a tree if you're that upset, don't pointlessly fill people's inboxes with junk mail. Gggrrrr. People! Going home when we have to work on English presentations and just... Ever felt like carrying one of those rolls of wrapping paper around with you and just hitting people with it until they stop being stupid? No? Just me? Oh well.

On the plus side Amazon has started to dispatch my books... one at a time. Amazon your sheer genius astounds me. Really. I am going to stop ordering stuff from them after this... really I am. The stress isn't worth it.

Okay, the reason I'm... grumpy, is because I have a Philosophy essay in for 5pm Wednesday that I haven't even started the reading for yet, I have a Creative Writing piece in for midnight Wednesday and she's given us a list of things to include that's a mile long so that'll be fun, and I have an English presentation to do for 10am next Monday and one of the girls I'm supposed to be working with has been at home the last four days, is here for Tuesday and Wednesday - when I'm supposed to be doing my essay - and then she's going home again... so we're supposed to meet up to organise it <>when exactly? Selfishness strikes again! Kthnxbye! -_-

So I'm going to be a little busy until Thursday. I tried to finish the fourth part of Parisian Dreams last night but it wasn't having any of it - it'll be posted Thursday night, if I don't spontaneously combust before then.

*sighs* I really should start doing work earlier. Oh well - too late now I guess. :)

Oh shiny happy people - how I hate you.

*sighs* One of the Cypriots just had the most beautiful bouquet of red roses studded with little jewels delivered to her, I'm assuming from her boyfriend in Leeds.

I love being single; I don't have time to be anything else right now but... I do love red roses and they were absolutely gorgeous. Maybe I'm just a tiny bit jealous. *looks at icon* Hey I wonder what Roger got Mirka for Valentines... they have it over in Switzerland right? Maybe he'll have proposed and we can watch fangirls across the world faint of shock en masse. *grins*

There is nothing, absolutely nothing, that tennis cannot distract me from. ^__^

And, us Singletons are having Chinese later on and I'll take Chinese over flowers anyday. ^__~

EDIT: Oh, and we've officially decided Roger Federer is cute and sweet for sending out a long, personally written newsletter every month (ish)... in three languages. There's something about the man's dedication that makes me feel tired, but nevertheless... we should send him a chocolate medal for being so cute or something.
