But in the meantime I was hugely amused by this exchange of comments on the blog for updates on roddickonline:

eowyn: "andy is destined for mardy! and mandy is back with wilmer valderama now anyways but thats not important! andy and mardy muhahaha! always! "
Renee: "Glad to see RO.com “somewhat” back…. I agree - and I’ve always said - Andy is destined for Mardy!"

Tennis slashers? There are more of us out there than you'd think. We're everywhere. Mmwahaha!

Now that little comment exchange has amused me, I'm back to the slash. Randomly, I really love this song. It gives me plotbunnies. ^__^

This probably isn't what you asked for, but you're getting it anyway.

This fic has... a somewhat complicated set of reasons behind it, besides bad dreams. I'm just glad I got it written and can now hopefully forget it all.

Title: Catharsis
Rating: PG-13
Pairing/s: Roddick/Fish, Federer/Roddick/Fish
Summary: Sometimes dreams can seem too real. Mardy doesn’t quite understand but knows Andy’s not simply overreacting.
Notes: I had bad dreams. I wanted to make sure I never, ever had one particular one ever again. This is my catharsis – because as much as I wanted to I couldn’t fly to Switzerland at 4 in the morning. Set around November30th/December 1st 2004, just before the Davis Cup final of the USA vs Spain in Seville. Unbeta-ed and no the German has not been checked and yes, there will be appalling errors. It’s 2:30am. Let me have my fun. Please.
Disclaimer: Not mine. Never happened to my knowledge. All own themselves and have nothing to do with me. Not making money off the pretty guys kissing each other, it’s just for fun.

In other news, why have my icon options disappeared? *contemplates* Oh right, stupid 'net not working right again. *sighs* Fixed it.

Whoa. OMG.

At home. That's not important. Main thing is I'm finally watching the Andy Roddick/Lleyton Hewitt Masters match and the Glare of Death, oh my god. Andy absolutely said something and it *wasn't* polite. It wasn't even close. Hewitt looked a little stunned and swore, saying something I didn't catch as he sat down. I would pay good money to know what Andy said, although after watching most of the second set (the 'rents missed taping the first) I feel for him, I do. It's painful just to watch; I can't even begin to imagine what it was like to play. But even the commentators are saying the way he played was bizarre - which is giving me more plotbunnies. But it's helped with the Andy/Hewitt slash, which will be making an appearance sometime soon. I'd forgotten- whoa, goddamn commentators-

Commentator: "I mean Roddick had a little pop at him- I mean I won't say what he said, but y'know, gave him a bit of a verbal nudge-"

I wanna know what he said!! Don't you people realise we need this to write fic goddamit?! *sighs*

Anyway, I was about to say I'd forgotten how many plotbunnies watching actual tennis rather than live scores gives you. It's insane. And Roger's hair looks hilarious on TV, bless him.

Mmm. Am starving. Tennis or food...
