Sun-tanned (Holland gets more sun than Wales apparently), jet-lagged (only an hour) and laden with the most delicious little invention of strioopwaflen (syrup waffles) I'm finally back and am no longer getting computer withdrawal symptoms. Mwahaha! I see the world still seems unconquered in my absence which I am most pleased by, but then I have yet to check out much more than my despicably junk-filled inbox so there is still time.
And mmmm. If you like good guy eye candy, go to Holland. Specifically Amsterdam. I have seen perfection and it shocked me by taking the form of a guy with a better ass than Johnny Depp and a really cute ponytail in an Irish bar there. S'amazing. Amsterdam was also hilarious in that nearly all the tourist souvenirs had pictures of cannabis leaves on them. ^__^ And when we were looking for presents for people and asking the advice of the shop lady, she asked if our friend smoked marijuana, just a casual question. The expressions on our faces must have been priceless.
*happy sigh* So we had much fun. Did touristy things like visit the miniture city Madurodam (sp?) and Madame Tussauds (I got photos of me with David Bowie and Pierce Brosnan but there was no Johnny Depp! *sobs* Oh, and another one of me sticking my tongue out at the George Bush wax figure ^__^) And we did less touristy things like meet some of my friend's dad's artist friends and so on (we kind of took over his flats in Rotterdam and Amsterdam for the week)And there was still loads we didn't manage to do. And I was sweet and well-behaved and un-sarcastic for the entire week. And no it didn't make my head explode.

Also realised some strange ad bizarre things this week. *is intentionally cryptic* Am saying nothing other than it was indeed very odd to realise your subconcious has been happily constructing a whole different set of ideas and thoughts without you particulary noticing.
Am knackered and still trying to catch up with the gazillion things being away from the 'net for a week has left me to do so I'll be off for now but will no doubt be back soon with pictures and so on. Hope you've all had a good week too ^__^

EDIT: I honestly tried to get through my f-list back entries. I did. But am just too tired and y'all have said much too much interesting stuff for me to skim, so I'll do it all tomorrow. Am off to watch wrestling and simply flop with tiredness. Mmmm. Flop.
