Marooner's Rock! There *was* a rock in the original Peter Pan! *looks entirely too smug* And Tiger Lily was pretty. Hah. I was not going isnane! (although my spelling might be)
There's a pop-up window flashing at me saying error-somethingorother and I know if I click okay on it all my open windows will disappear. However if I ignore it they'll stay open and work fine. Bizarre. Hee.
I walked round the entire town today and NOWEHRE HAS ANY COPIES OF PETER PAN IN STOCK! I set out with £10 and a mission to obtain a copy of Peter Pan. I came home with a copy of Treasure Island, A Dictionary of Pirates (thankyouveryfuckingmuchCaptainJackSparrow)and a beautiful Tolkien 2004 diary that was half price in Waterstones. Oh, and no money. But everwhere I went there were copies of Harry Potter weighing down the shelves, but could I find a copy of Peter Pan, lke smeg I could! However all is not lost - I still have money and am going shopping to Cheshire Oaks tomorrow. Will visit Borders and see if they manage to live up to my high expectations of them. My local library had a copy which I spent two hours engrossed in (I love J.M. Barrie's writing style) but I want my own copy. I did have one but it's been lost somewhere along the way. Also saw a gorgeous hardback copy of The Secret Garden but couldn't afford it. Oh dear. I buy far too many books. ^_______^
The media essay I thought had to be in for next Tuesday isn't in till the Tuesday after. 'Tis marvellous because it means I'll have time to rent some horror movies, sit down and watch them. *sighs* I suppose this means watching the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and scaring the crap out of myself. Oh well, I'll get over it. Plus I have an english essay in for next Monday so was thinking I wouldn't have enough time to research the media one properly, but no, 'tis all good.
Happy birthday Orlando Bloom!
Have sworn not to buy myself Paid Journal till February since I don't have enough money. However that does not stop me making icons in readiness. Mwahahaha.
Have sworn to spend more time working and ficcing and less time meandering aimlessly round the 'net so am off now. Maybe be back later. Love, peace and jelly babies,
Clo
