Earlier was watching TV and caught the end of 'Party in the Park 2003' or some title like that - Steve Balsamo was singing. I'd seen him in Jesus Christ Superstar a while ago and liked him so thought I'd look him up while I was thinking about it, but by the time my brother finally got off the computer I was watching 'Rock Star' with Mark Wahlberg and wanted the lyrics for one of the songs. So I had two windows open, one looking for Steve, one looking for Rock Star lyrics. Found the official Steve Balsamo site, was casually reading about him while trawling for the lyrics in the other window when....

Now no longer with Columbia, Steve continues to write and record with his new band. He has had a song featured in the movie 'Rock Star' (featuring Mark Wahlberg and Jennifer Aniston....

*dies* WHY DOES FATE ALWAYS DO THIS TO ME EARLY IN THE MORNING WHEN I'M NOT SANE ENOUGH TO COPE?!!!

Sitting in front of my computer in my pajamas at 1pm seems to be a habit by now. Hhhmm.

Just realised have aquired TWO new slash pairings in the last 24 hours, both of which would probably have me burnt at various stakes for blasphemy or breaking many Christian laws. Cool. That's definitely a personal record. One I just wandered idly into while looking for something else entirely and the other... well as usual it's mercury32's fault. ^__^ You're right Merc, that probably *is* one of the worst break-ups in history. Can we write it? Pleeeeeeeaaaaase?? And getting your letter Christmas Eve is like having an early Christmas present. :-)

UCAS is officially dumb - I've known for weeks from their website and Keele University itself that I had an offer from them but I only just got the UCAS letter confirming it. >_< Honestly, I'm supposed to trust them to get me university places? Riiiiiiiigggght.

Christmas Eve. Wow. Who stole 2003 because I certainly don't think it's been 12 months since last Christmas. Hell it feels like I've blinked once and it's suddenly all gone. And I don't seem to have done a lot this year. *muses* In fact I seem to have achieved a grand total of sod-all in the great scheme of things. No wait; I'm sure I've done some stuff. Passed exams, talked to Merc, finished various fic. *nods* So I have done some stuff at least. Yeah. Very productive of me. ^___~

Well today I have a final present to wrap, a painting to work on and Myth to write so I'd better go and do it. One more sleep till Christmas!! ^____^
