There's a Christmas present for me wrapped up on the table. It's squishy like clothes. Or maybe something wrapped up in bubblewrap. I love this part of Christmas. Screw actually opening the presents, it's the *anticipation* that counts. But the temptation to peek is overwhelming. Gah!

I'm enjoying 'The Mexican' solely for Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts since I missed the first 40 minutes and have no clue what is going on. Brad Pitt is going to make one hell of an Achilles. Although every time there's another twist in this film I'm bouncing up and down trying to swear quietly so as not to wake the 'rents upstairs. Brad Pitt has really pretty eyes. *reads the credits at the end and dies* Dude this was directed by the same guy who directed 'Pirates'!! Dude. That's just.... bizarre. Just... *tries to find a different word to dude and fails* ...dude.

No college tomorrow. (you may have guessed since I'm posting this at 1:15am) 'Tis marvellous. I get to decorate the Christmas tree! That is if the 'rents get it down from the attic.

Goddammit this present is taunting me! *glares at it*

Busy, busy, busy....

I have much to do today. Except it doesn't include putting up the tree since the 'rents never bothered to get it. -_- It also does not involve obsessively checking the UCAS website every three hours for university offers! *glares at self*

*shrieks* The lady I emailed about the Creative Writing portfolio for Lancaster Uni like THREE MINUTES AGO just emailed me back!! GGAAAAAHHHH! Oh FANTASTIC she's given me the address to send it to! Oh and said she usually sends a letter out. *Clo paints the word 'doofus' on her forehead* Now do I waste her time by emailing back to say thank you? No I said it in my first email. Oh CHRIST now I need to get my original stories done. crapcrapcrapcrap... And she hasn't told me how long it's supposed to be. THANK YOU. I'll just send 3,000 words like the guy on Open Day told me. Oh bugger that means I can't send 'A Touch of Grace' because it's 9,000 words. On second thoughts it is about a girl falling in love with her teacher so maybe I'd better not send that anyway. *considers* Oh CRAP. I am so going to have to spend today re-writing Haven and finishing 'LookDon'tTouch'. Bollocks. Anyone interested in reading some original stories when I'm finished?

I definitely need to go and get dressed and start writing. WHEE! Creative Writing at Uni! *dances*
