Happy birthday to me..... happy birthday to me....

Party last night was good, full of relatives so nothing insane happened. My parents failed in their quest to buy me a wizard hat so I amde myself some little black cat ears. One pocket of my black fleece will never be the same but the ears were a hit (and I learned that trying to sew on sequins is a painful experience unless you have iron fingers)so everything worked out. ^____^ I have photos so once my brother uploads them from the digital camera (I'm terrified of breaking his camera; it's all small and fragile) I'll put the best ones up. there aren't many of the fireworks because we only thought to get the camera for the last four or so and they kept going off just *after* I clicked the button but one or two came out nice. I think we're going out for Chinese tonight or something. Plus I got a few damn good presents and my laptop is being delivered anytime today. *bounces* Can't wait!

I've rediscovered my passion for the Sims (actually I was on a bulldozing spree in my favourite neighbourhood and it suddenly looks a lot emptier ^__^) and am off to find new and interesting ways to blow them up. Hehehehe. Who says being 18 means you have to act grown up?

No laptop. >_< I rung up and was told ten past six and hah, is it here? Is it smeg. But I'm using it as fodder for my argument for a new kitten. Which brings me to my main question:

I know several of my friends list have cats and I've been offered a new kitten which I'm all for but I already have Casper and I was wondering if any of you have ever had a new kitten with an older, established cat already in the house and how did the older cat react? Is it okay to get a new kitten when you already have an older cat?

My brother is on my side and I have a sneaking suspicion my dad wants one too but my mum is saying no she doesn't want one. But if everyone else is for it we can convince her as long as I know Casper will be okay with it. I love cats and the kittens are all tabby too - my favourite! ^___^

Right I have to go and apologise to some people because my parents had something planned that in turn screws up something I had planned. *sighs* I know they mean well but sometimes it's like... "Warn me about these things okay?!"
