Teehee!

It's RAINING. Yes, RAIN. Lovely lovely unhot rain. No more sun! We had a thunderstorm last night too, not a massive one but still pretty cool. I was standing outside my front door in the rain ^____^ Got absolutely soaked but I didn't care. RAIN! *is happy*

Got my provisional driver's licence today too. -_- Means my parents will be nagging me to start driving lessons. I don't really care, I'd rather go horse-riding. I've found a riding stables too and I've got a card for a half-price first lesson but my parents are more interested in dull driving lessons. -_- Neh.

We're going out today, not sure exactly where, Cheshire Oaks to Borders methinks and my brother's mumbling something about the aquarium. I was going to go with Jamie + everyone later in the summer but no harm in going twice. I haven't got any money to buy books though. *mourns* Actually I won't have any money to buy books for ages unless I get a job - at the end of this month I'm spending my pocket money on DVDs - either three DVDs or two DVDs and skin-tone coloured pencils. Which are really outrageously over-priced at £11:99 but eh.

Someone on Elfwood just said they'd never heard of Legolas. Is that possible? is it just me in my LotR crazed-obsessiveness that thinks it's impossible not to know who Legolas is? Yes, it probably is. But.... not knowing who *Legolas* is? Sheesh. And I thought I needed to get out more.

Okay, off to get ready to go out now, once the woman comes back from taking my grandparents shopping. I was planning on wearing a skirt but looking at the weather that = a bad idea.Hey, I haven't worn jeans for about a week and a half anyway.

I've just spent an hour or so uploading new pictures to the Elfwood extranet ready to get in the queue for them to be put up.... *then* I realise the Extranet isn't publishing stuff at the moment due to a bug being fixed. Which they have no idea how to fix right now. So, with over 2000 tickets already ahead of me in the queue, don't expect to see my Elfwood gallery updated for at least another month, possibly (and probably) longer.*sighs again* Ah well, it is a free service I guess.

We didn't go out in the end - extreme rain meant mini-flash floods everywhere. Our drive was under 2 or three inches of water for a while before it went down and the guy across the road actually had to bring a pump to get the water off his drive and into the back garden - they had about five or six inches. Twas insane. It's all gone now though and it's just ordinary rain again. Which means we can go out tomorrow. ^__^ Yey, Borders and Blue Planet!

Now I'm at something of a loss for what to do. My brother got Daredevil this morning so i might watch that, or I might continue with Angel series three. So much choice. -_- Actually I'm just bored.

Hah. Off less than a fortnight and I'm bored. Oh wait; my dad has been watching golf for the last five hours. Boredom explained. *waves a sign saying 'Ban Golf on TV!'*

I'm trying to pick a song to do for my Media music video - my first choice of Evanescence, 'My Last Breath' is out since Charly isn't coming back in September - I needed someone female and gothic-y to sing (mime) if I did that. It's a great song too. *mourns* So now I need a song, between 3-5 minutes of length with a guy singer. I was *so* tempted to do 'Nothing We Can't Face' from the Buffy musical but it's too short. We all could have "sung" in that too, there's girl and guy parts. So unfair. I could've done Anya's part - BUNNIES!! Tee-hee. So I'm going through all my possible songs at the moment. There's so *many.*
