How do you tell someone politely NOT to do something? I don't want to piss anyone off but I get the feeling I'm going to have to put my foot down or the annoying behaviour will continue.
I'm amazed at the response to the Short Story Competition on Planet Helen. I don't think it's been going a week yet and I've got four entries already. From a group with only 25 members or so members and only about nine of those taking an active role, that's impressive. *counts on fingers* Yeah about eight or nine members. Hhhmm sounds less like that.
For some reason, I was inexplicably annoyed in Media. It wasn't because Lora wasn't in (I saw her in the morning walking towards college so I know you were there L ^_~) but I'm not sure what it could have been. Hhhm. Maybe passing mood. I was fine in Psych when we were laughing at Kiri and another girl..... I've forgotten her name, dammit! - walk backwards past everyone to demonstrate people's reactions to non-socially acceptable behaviour. Quite amusing.
Good grief I've been thinking all day about something I wanted to say... oh! Remember my 'Kafkesque' word of the day a day or so ago? I was reading the newspaper today and one of the articles began with the line "It's a rather Kafkesque place...." and I was like, hey that's my word!! The writer must subscribe to dictionary.com. Small amusements like this keep me sane.
You know what, I haven't really got any homework to do tonight so I'm going to play on the Sims. New Sims game coming out in a month or two - Sims Superstar. You get to follow them to work and let them become famous actors and stuff. *snickers* I adore the Sims but I'm glad they keep bringing out expansion packs because otherwise it'd get dull. As it is, I constantly redesign my favourite house to keep me busy. It's currently oplen-floor plan, with a balconey-thing running round the second floor with the rooms leading off and looking down on the floor below. It's fun!
Oh look my dad is home from work again. Joy. Happiness. Fun. When is he going away again?
